The new facility will have total built space of 25,686m2 and will be located in New Taipei City's Linkou District on Wenhua 1st Road, on the south side of Linkou Community Sports Park, and just west of the athlete's village originally built for the 2017 Summer Universiade. Located just south of the planned site are the Taoyuan International Airport MRT Line and the Sun Yat-sen Freeway. The site will have an attractive river valley greenbelt, which will create an urban ecological corridor system by converting nearby parks and green spaces into ecological stepping stones, thus introducing a rich riparian ecology into the surrounding urban environment. We intend to ensure that the site is an important place where an urban greenbelt and a natural greenbelt are stitched together. This will rebuild a broken greenbelt, and establish the site as Linkou's green core.
